Casual Shed Servicing Maintenance Role
Our Shed staff work in a busy taem to ensure a friendly and professional service to field staff to provide gear and equipment to outdoor programs on time and accurately to orders.
Casual roles to assist with weekend packing are available. Possibility for the opportunity to extend to a salaried part time position in the future.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, store and issue specialist and general equipment;
- Load and unload equipment, vehicles and trailers, and from time to time transport these to other OEG sites;
- Carry out repairs, maintenance and servicing of equipment;
- Ensure the Operations area, including wash bays, containers and car park, are kept neat and tidy at all times.
Key Selection Criteria (Please address these in your application letter):
- Willing ability to work a rotating roster that will include weekends and some public holidays;
- Good level of physical fitness;
- Good communication and organizational skills;
- Ability to remain calm and in control in challenging situations;
- Ability to work as part of a team, but generally be self-supervised;
- Ability to work within occupational health & safety standards;
- Basic computer literacy;
- Drivers Licence;
- (Desirable) Medium or Heavy rigid licence
